Chicory Palla Rossa Early - seeds

Burgundy coloured radicchio that forms a heart. Slightly bitter taste, excellent in salads and can be cooked to remove bitterness. Cool weather enhances red colouring in leaves. After cutting main head, cover stump with straw to produce blanched Witloof-type heads.
